Dr Zoran Radnic

Veterinarian

Dr. Radnic graduated from the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Sarajevo in 1987. After completing his Masters of Science Degree, he spent several years working in the Marine Biology field. He worked in veterinary medicine in Calgary and Whitehorse before moving to Vancouver in 2000. Dr Radnic most recently spent two years as a lead veterinarian at the BC SPCA Vancouver Animal Hospital, before acquiring Kingsway Veterinary Clinic in 2020.
When it comes to his personal life and his profession, Dr. Radnic is passionate about high quality pet care – he always recommends the very best for all of his furry friends. He treats all of our patients like they are his own which means every single pet that walks through our door is given the ultimate in medical care and compassion.
Dr. Radnic shares his home with his wife and son as well as their cat, Oscar, and their dog Lily. When he’s not working, Dr. Radnic enjoys cheering on our Vancouver Canucks, playing basketball and skiing.

Dr Biljana Grubac

Veterinarian

Dr Biljana Grubac completed her degree at the University of Sarajevo and has more than 20 years of experience working in the field of small animal veterinary medicine. Dr. Grubac has passion for surgery with a special interest in dentistry. Dr Grubac has worked in a number of hospitals throughout Vancouver where she gained a reputation of a dedicated, compassionate doctor. When not working Dr. Grubac enjoys spending time with her family.

Sarah

Manager

Sarah studied business management and animal health care in her home country Ireland, she started out in retail management before starting her journey in animal health care. Sarah joined Kingsway vet in 2019 first as an assistant and then as manager. In her spare time Sarah loves exploring the Vancouver food scene with her partner and going to see as much live music as she can, her future goals are to become a Canadian citizen and to continue to expand her knowledge in animal health care.

Fun Fact: Sarah has a slight Harry Potter obsession, her office in the clinic is aptly named "the harry potter office under the stairs".

Caroline

Registered Veterinary Technician

When Caroline is not working you can finder her hiking with her two pups Perogie and Truffle. In her spare time Caroline enjoys photography. When it comes to work she loves to help our patients and clients with there pets diet and nutritional needs. Caroline graduated from Douglas College Veterinary Technician programme and passed her National exam in August, her future goal are to specialize in nutrition and to one day open a palliative care home for pets.

Fun Fact: Caroline competitively rode horse for 10 years.

Camilla

Veterinary Technician/Veterinary intern

Camilla just recently moved to Canada, she was a veterinarian in her home country of Brazil. In her down time she loves to hike with her dogs, going to the beach, movies and cooking but she does admit that she is a terrible cook. In her future she plans to become a licensed Veterinary here in British Columbia.

Christine Chen

Veterinary Assistant

Christine earned a Bachelor Degree in Animal Applied Biology, Food and Science Division from UBC in 2015 and earned her Veterinary Assistant Diploma in 2018 from Granville College. Christine loves her current career as a veterinary assistant and feels fulfilled by helping animals live healthy and playful lives. She enjoys curling up on a couch with a great cup of coffee and her 15-year old chihuahua.

Kiran Sohi

Veterinary Assistant

When Kiran is not either in clinic or at home you can find her at the barn! Kiran is an avid horse rider and and loves helping all animals big and small in need she has been fostering and volunteering with many local rescues over the last few years.

Kiran graduated from Kwantlen University in General studies with a focus on science, her future goals are to continue in the veterinary field and work towards getting her diploma as a veterinary technician.

In her down time she loves going for walks and hike with her husband and young son.

Fun Fact: She still believes in unicorns.

Trina Atchinson

Veterinary Assistant

Trina has been working with animals first as a kennel tech and groomer and in more recent year a veterinary assistant, she is a very empathic person with a special interest in our much loved senior patients and their care. A few of her favourite things to do in her off time are getting stuck into her much loved fantasy novels and being out in nature with her two dogs Riley and Sushi, she is a keen human rights activist and mental health advocate. Some of Trina's future goals are to expand her knowledge in the veterinary field and continue to grow and learn, as well as to travel more of the world as travel is one of her passions.

Fun Fact: She used to be a singer in a band and perform live, she has seen over 100 concerts.

Naomi Walsh

Veterinary Assistant

Naomi has grown up around animals since a young age, she holds a bachelors degree in Zoology from the university college Cork in Ireland. After college worked as an intern for Seal rescue Ireland which led to her role as assistant animal care manager and rescue network coordinator. In 2021 she emmigrated to Vancouver Canada where she has worked as a veterinary assistant ever since, she continues her volunteer work with the wildlife rescue association of BC. Naomi's future goals are to become a permanent resident of Canada and, complete the veterinary technician diploma and to get her scuba diving certification.

Fun Fact: Naomi did her final year project on episodic goats.

Stephanie

Veterinary Assistant

Stephanie was born and raised in Vancouver, where she graduated from UBC with a bachelor of science in Biology. She has been working in the field of veterinary medicine for the last 3 years now. She has two cats at home: Curly and Rosie. Stephanie is always eager to learn more and build her knowledge as a Pre-Vet student! She enjoys hiking, going to concerts, listening to podcasts and knitting.

Fun fact: she did a sea turtle conservation internship in Costa Rica where she saw a Leatherback sea turtle!
